I'm a bit more upbeat today, which is really nice!

I'm considering picking up the ingredients for Jambalaya when I run to the store tonight, then making it tonight an popping it in the fridge to have for dinner tomorrow and the next night. I've been really hungry for it lately. I'll have to tone it down so #3 will eat it, but I can always put some extra pepper on mine after I serve it up and before I pop it in the nuker.

I ended up having to break down and buy the kids a replacement computer yesterday. The one they've been using has been limping along for several years now, and yesterday finally gave up the ghost. So, off to Best buy, and we picked up an E-Machine for $300. #1 asked if he could tinker with the old machine, and if he got it running could he keep it for his own use. Go-for-it was my reply.

I think he can get it back up and limping again with a video card. For Internet he will have to set it up downstairs as the wireless card was moved from that machine into the new machine.

OK, time to go put together a grocery list. Yippie!

I don't know Jambalaya, but I'm guessing it's on the spicy side?

My very first computer was an eMachine (the Commodore 64 doesn't count, does it?????). A friend of mine whose hubby was an IBM tech sneered at it. Their IBM showed the Dreaded Blue Screen O Death YEARS before my eMachine did *giggles*.

    I loved that comp........

Sounds good, but all those peppers, big NoNo for my digestive tract. I don't do hot stuff. I would give it a taste, though.
