Day-O-Geeking
Sat Mar 29 2008

Hubby and I spent the day gladly and happily doing nothing. It was wonderful!

We went to the Army post first to get Hubby some T-shirts. While there we saw a Thomas Kinkade print, America's Pride that Hubby fell in love with. I got it for him as a combination late anniversary present/early Father's Day present, to take and hang in his office.

From there we drove over to the Air Force Base to run a couple errands and get some lunch. After that we headed out to check out the new Cabella's store in our area.

I have never seen so much camouflage in one place at one time in my whole life. And I've spent most of the last 20 years on or around military bases.

Hubby found a nifty flashlight there that has the option of four different colors, and is powerful but small.

Who could ask for a better day?

Spending the day with one's husband seems like a pretty nice day.

It does sound relaxing. However, please pardon the biased opinion, but if the day did not include video games or comic book stores, it is not "geeky". Throwing in a scifi show or movie would have worked though. :)

P.S. Have you seen the previews for Iron Man? Gotta see it!
P.P.S. Is it a bad thing when previews/reviews/scoops of Battlestar Galactica start showing up in Soap Opera Digest?
