Weekend Getaway
Fri Mar 14 2008

Hubby, #2 and #3 have a Civil Air Patrol weekend function, and will be gone until Sunday late afternoon/evening. Not to be outdone, #1 and I packed up ourselves and Stormy and have come down to my folks for the weekend.

We got here before Mom and Dad got back from a birthday dinner with my bro a couple hours the opposite direction from which we came, so we're cooling our heels after the drive. I happened to notice Dad left his computer on, so I thought I would take the opportunity to make a quick entry.

I jumped through all the hoops needed today to get the charges reversed on the fraudulent transaction on my bank account, that should go through Monday or Tuesday according to my Credit Union. I also got #1 signed up for his first college class. Starting March 31 #1 will be taking English 101. I recommended he get this out of the way while he is only taking one class since there are several reports and research papers he will need to write for the class. We're still wrapping up his science course for Homeschooling. He should be finished with it the first part of April.

Not much else, I think the time has definitely come for me to don sweats and kick it into high relaxation mode!

RYC: I know that little farm. It's just a little ways down the road from us across Jackson hiway.

    How funny!

That's much more amusing than the jets setting off the car alarms down the street every time they roared overhead.

    I'm gonna miss them.

They are the definition of 'cool'.

A kid in college. Another milestone in the allimom family.

I *finally* found my one and only set of sweats. I thought I was looking for gray, but I found black. I forget the difference between a long skirt and pants. Pants are ever so much more efficient at keeping legs warm.
