Christmas Was...
Thu Dec 27 2007

Amazing! We started the day out with just Hubby, the boys and I, opening our presents to each other and partaking in our traditional Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. After that we put some things away and bundled into the truck to head down to my folks place.

We arrived there around 11AM and it started to snow. It kept snowing all day while my family, my brother, his girlfriend and her kids, and Mom and Dad stayed warm inside playing our traditional Christmas White Elephant games and stuffing ourselves on Turkey with all the fixin's.

It was a white Christmas as the snow stuck, and by the time we left around 7 there was just shy of an inch on the ground with the promise of more to come.

#1 and #3 stayed down with Grandma and Grandpa for the week, while Hubby, myself and #2 came home. Hubby and #2 have a Civil Air Patrol activity they left for this morning and should be home sometime late Monday afternoon.

I have work every day this week except today. Three guesses who got to sleep in and not see the light of day before 8:00?

This was a wonderful Christmas for all of us. Mom and Dad usually split their time between Washington and Arizona during the winter, and this year they were here for Christmas. This is the first Christmas in a while that the whole family has been together to celebrate. Yes, it was truly a wonderful Christmas!

Glad to hear you all had such a good Christmas! I'd forgotten until your mention of cinnamon rolls that my dad every year got orange rolls for Christmas morning. Thanks for bringing back a memmory!

We had a white Christmas here too; about 2 inches. It was just enough to make it pretty, but not stop most of the family from driving up the hill.
