These are rather old CD's (12 years old to be exact), and it seems to be missing several rather important lessons. Clicking on the various lessons only brings up the introductory, and the rest are nowhere to be found.
So, today I'm online looking for student and teacher editions of an introductory-level algebra class. I've found loads-and-loads of student editions, but nary an instructor version to be found.
I don't suppose there are any math teachers out there who could point me in the direction of a source for these textbooks?
On another subject, my house. One benefit to having the kids homeschooled is the daily routine we have. We are up in the morning, with breakfast and morning chores on the schedule before lessons start. I want to give the kids meds time to kick in before I have them sit down and try to do any schooling. We have a couple hours in the morning for lessons, with a break half-way through that time block. We break for lunch and what I call decompression time for about an hour and a half, and then a couple more hours of lessons (again with a break in the middle of the chunk of time). This is followed by afternoon chores and journaling time for the kids.
We are all doing chores during the chore time, and as a result, my house has been (AND stayed!) clean every day since we started this.
I'm having the kids write in a diary (they call it a journal as that is more macho, don'tcha ya know?) daily to give them a personal document of everything that is going on. I need to start doing this myself, and put off preparing dinner until I'm done with that task.
OK, break time is over, time to attack the English assignment I've got for them this afternoon!
