Another Long Day

I worked from 7 to 3 today, and with the AC still out in the office it was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG shift.

I had hoped to relax and imitate a vegetable for the rest of the day, but the kids and I will be meeting Hubby for dinner on base in about an hour. Meanwhile I'm enjoying sitting in an Air Conditioned home enjoying a 70 degree, climate controlled environment while looking outside at the swealtering 98 degree weather. I swear I can see all the plants in my yard wilting.

Now I'm off to find ice water. It isn't as good as an ice cold beer, but that can wait until after dinner!

    we had a mini-cold front swoop through, for which I'm eternally grateful as it's been hot as blazes here, too. Oh, that's right. You've been here in the heat of the summer so you know how bad it can get *sigh*.

    Enjoy that after dinner cold-enough-to-make-your-head-hurt beer!

    And your 98 degree weather with high humidity is a whole lot worse than my 98 degree weather with low humidity. Enjoy your beer.
