Grades & Amazing Grace
Mon Mar 19 2007

My grades finally came in, and all I can say is that my instructor was very-very merciful. Two of the grades are (to varying degrees) sympathy grades, but they are passing ones. So… I’m done.

I have to say that again, because I’m having a hard time comprehending it. I’m done.

Done.

It’s going to take a while to sink in.

On another topic, for our Anniversary last weekend, Hubby and I went to dinner and a movie. The movie we chose was Amazing Grace. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. You won’t see spectacular special effects. You won’t see the kind of blockbuster like the industry has been churning out lately. You will see a fantastic story that has been executed very well. Ioan Gruffudd’s portrayal of William Wilberforce is genuine and believable, Albert Finney and Michael Gambon are delightful to watch, and it was interesting to see Rufus Sewell in a more benign role than he is normally cast.

As for right now, I’m off to play with Stormy as she has decided this is play time and keeps dropping her ball on my keyboard.

Dumb dog.

You know, every time you say 'dumb dog' you sound more and more like my dad. He'd say the same thing about Chi Chi, their old Chihuahua. Guess who Chi Chi loved best? You got it. :)

Oh boy! Congratulations!!! Now, if you were me, you'd be buying both of those yarns you linked me a day or so ago by way of celebration. And sock knitting isn't at all hard, either, once you make your first sock. ;o) Congratulations again!

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to the day (many years away yet at this rate) when I can say the same thing.
