Monday Again?

What happened to the weekend? With whom do I file a complaint that the weekends are never long enough?

Last night was interesting in the home of Allimom. #1 and #2 were butting heads after dinner, and it finally escalated to a meltdown for #1. I spent a couple hours keeping the two of them apart, hiding all the sharp objects in the house, and checking on #1 every few minutes to be sure that he did not engage in any acts of violence to himself or anyone/thing around him.

Thank God all seemed better this morning. I made sure to ply him with melatonin last night to ensure his being asleep at a reasonable hour, and I think a full night of sleep did wonders for him. I didn’t sleep much as I felt I needed to be on guard to ensure he wasn’t playing possum and planning to do harm to any of us while we slept. However, #1’s full night of sleep did me a lot of good.

I’m soothing my nerves this morning watching the Food Network and drooling over all the wonderful things they have on that I would love to have but don’t need. Right now on Boy Meets Grill they are whipping up a fish dish (Red Snapper I think) with grilled onions and potatoes in a clam sauce that looks absolutely amazing.

I need to change the channel now; I’m getting too hungry watching this!

Actually I need to get started on my homework for the day. Mom & Dad are due in sometime this afternoon, and #2 has CAP tonight, so I need to maximize my time while I’m alone in the house and only interrupted by Stormy asking to go out occasionally, like… now.

    Speaking of letting dogs out....

For most of the summer, when it wasn't too hot, we have left the back slider open. The cat and dog have gone in and out at will.

I am not sure how they are going to react to the door being closed when the cold weather comes....

Having their 'den' door blocked my bring on some kind of mutany. I hope it is short lived and non violent!!!!

I know where my weekend went. And there's nothing to write about.

#1 and #2 are the twins. Right? It's interesting to figure out what sets off sibling against sibling. Sometimes is such a picayunish thing you wonder where their good sense got off to.

    Shalom

File a complaint in my name, too, will you because I'm too tired to do it myself *sigh*

On a happier note, my box arrived today *does the happy dance* and I thank you from the bottom of my boysenberry smeared heart! It was a lovely surprise after a mostly hideous day!
