Keeping Busy
Tue Aug 22 2006

We've been inundating ourselves with projects to keep busy so we don't dwell on losing Indigo. We went down to Ryderwood over the weekend where we worked on a few projects down there.

Back at home, we made a trip to Home Depot to clear out their shelves. Yesterday Hubby built a sprinkler system for the front yard, and he has the supplies to do one for the back yard probably later today. We've also got some border paving stones to go around the tree in the front yard, a cabinet to install in my laundry room, an under-the-counter recycle depository to install so we don’t have to keep piling everything up on the counter until we take it out to the bin, painting a couple areas outside, and the front porch extension to complete.

Hubby has this week off, and if we’re lucky we will get everything done by the weekend. If not, a few of the projects can wait until weekends or rainy days in the near future.

This term is going well so far. I’ve got more work than I’ve had in the past few classes, so that has been keeping me busy while Hubby works on some of the outside projects. The schedule for next term came out yesterday and I was thrilled to see that they are offering three classes I can take next term. This is extra exciting as it means I may get to graduate next year rather the year after that. My GI Bill runs out in November of next year, so if I can get my schooling finished before then it would be an added bonus!

OK, back to my homework now. I’ve taken a long enough break.

Three classes with everything else you have to do? That's quite a load.

Have you given yourselves a little time to mourn? You need to do that.

Boy - three classes is a lot but I can understand that the closer you get to finishing the more you want to be done with it.
