After the jars that are in the canner now are out, I'm officially out of berries or anything else to can. I'm toying with the idea of finding a recipe for canned pie filling and doing some of that, but I haven't decided if I want to or not.
I'll wait until after the caffiene is in my system to see how much umph that gives me before I make any final decisions.
So far the only thing I KNOW that I have to do today is go buy a new ironing board. The one I've had for the last 20 years died today. It literally fell apart when we tried to put it up, and the rusted out parts that gave up the ghost don't have enough area left to try to put it back together.
Oh well, I guess I will just HAVE to go to Walmart again today. The tragedy!
I was there yesterday doing some of the kids school shopping. I managed to get it ALL done yesterday, and with the sales I found we came out almost $200 under what we usually spend. Ya gotta LOVE that!
