Homework, Laundry & Dishes Oh My!
Sun Apr 02 2006

Today has been a long one. I’ve been working on one math problem since yesterday, and just can’t get it. I have about 12 hours invested in this ONE problem. Do you have any idea how frustrating that is?

This is a work weekend for Hubby. He got home around 4:30 or so and after seeing the vein in my temple throbbing, suggested we go for a walk. We went 3 miles which definitely helped relieve some of the stress from my failed attempts at math today.

I managed to get a couple loads of laundry done today (which reminds me, I need to go change the loads) and a load of dishes. The kids are helping clean the kitchen now dinner is over, so I can take a break to rest my mind before tackling my homework again.

This is Spring Break for the kids. I wanted to go down to my folks place yesterday or today to finish up some of the painting they started before heading home to Alaska, but that didn’t happen. I need to get more homework done before we go play. Maybe I can get enough done this evening and tomorrow so we can go down Tuesday. I’ve still got a bunch of English homework to do once I get the math done. Something tells me I’m going to be quite busy for the next couple days with just homework!

Hubby leaves next weekend for a school and will be gone a couple months. I had hoped that he could have taken a few days off this week before he left, but there is no chance of that. He has too much to do at work this week before taking off next weekend.

OK, I really need to get to my homework now, so I need to pry my fingers off my keyboard. Wish me luck!

    Goodluck!

I hope your persistance with this problem pays off for you! It's also a good habit to demonstrate in front of the kids too I reckon
(The homework that is...not the pulsating vein) :o)

Wow, that just amazes me. 12 hour math.

My brain would melt after 45 minutes I'm sure!
