Never Ending Appointments
Tue Feb 07 2006

Between the doctor, dentist and orthodontist, at least one person in the family has at least one appointment every day this week. That, of course, means that I will be spending my week driving. Doesn't that sound fun?

Not.

I usually don't mind driving, but I dislike numerous short runs. Give me a nice long road trip any day, but you can have the short across town trips thank-you very much.

Today it is #3's doctor appointment. Yesterday was #1's orthodontist (which fortunately he does not have another one for 3 months). Tomorrow it is me at the dentist, and Thursday #2 has his turn at the doctor's. Friday night and Saturday morning I have school, and Saturday afternoon #1 and I start training classes with Shelby. Sometime this weekend I think we are going down to see MIL, but Hubby and I haven't agreed on a day and time for that yet. He said something about Saturday, but I can't go then. I suggested sometime Sunday, but he has something he wants to do that afternoon. Hopefully I'll see him for more than 5 minutes today where we are both awake so we can nail down a time.

I'm looking forward to next week, where so far I only have Monday with Hellby going to the vet, and the weekend for my classes.

Ah yes, Hellby's vet appointment. She is broken, so we're taking her to be fixed on Monday.

If the "fixing" involves duct tape and a staple gun count me in!

How old is Hellby? I read that male pups can be neutered as early as 6 weeks. That sounds awfully early to me.

My kids never had the need for orthodontia, and most places we could walk to. But there's always a demand for Mom's time. Eh.

You think "fixing" will slow her down? Didn't work with KK. But Banshee is becoming more youthful, what with having to put up with KK.
