I had this big long entry I was going to write a few hours ago, but my connection was slower than dirt so I put it off. Now, of course, I can't remember what I was going to write. Oh well.

Tomorrow we will be going to #2's graduation from this camp he has been at all week. I'm also making soup tomorrow. Doesn't that sound good? I actually wanted to do it today but got caught up in finishing one crochet project and starting the next.

We did get the tree out of the house today. The Boy Scouts are coming around tomorrow to pick them up. My sneezing stopped about a half hour after taking it out. What relief!

It has been raining almost non-stop today, making it very frustrating for me and the pup. She needs to get out for a nice long walk and I have an aversion for going out for a nice long walk in cold and rainy weather while coming down off this cold. While I know I did have a cold, I've also no doubt that the tree contributed towards many of my symptoms.

One thing I did remember that I was going to write about was a dessert I made for Christmas. It was fantastic, but I won't be making it again any time soon as a person could gain 10 pounds just looking at it. It is a pudding dessert I usually make with graham cracker crumbs. I wanted to try something different this time, so I went looking for Oreo crumbs. I couldn't find any such animal so I bought a package of Oreos, crushed them up and packed them down into the bottom of the casserole dish. Then came the layer of vanilla pudding, the chocolate pudding layer on top of that, and topped it off with a nice thick layer of whipped cream.

Yummy does not begin to describe how out of this world fantastic it was!

Shoot, I think I gained 15 pounds just writing about it.
