Three guesses who is the person to get up and stay up with her at this time?
I've given up on even going to bed until after this time the past couple nights. If I try sleeping first it is too hard for me to wake up and stay awake with her. As a result, I'm back to being in zombie mode every morning. After the kids are all out of the house and on the way to school, I go back to bed and get a little more sleep until Shelby decides it is play time again. Fortunately she usually lets me sleep for an hour or two. I would be happier with three or four... but I take what I can get.
Another school day has rolled around for me. I'm not sure why I'm surprised, but my instructor never sent us the mid-term she said she would e-mail out to us.
I also never got a reply from her as to the program she wanted us to write. I wrote one out and e-mailed it to her asking if I was on the right track. That was a week and a half ago, and I never got a reply from her.
Have I mentioned that I think this teacher is worthless? Have I mentioned how frustrating it is as there are so few teachers at the campus and I'm pretty much stuck with her? Have I mentioned that I'm going to complain to everyone who will listen in the administration offices of the school at the campus I attend?
Not until after grades come out... but I'm going to complain nonetheless.
We were supposed to get our class evaluations from her last week, the day she didn't come to school so class was cancelled. I wonder if that is why?
It started half heartedly snowing between 8 and 10, and finally shortly after 10 it got a little more serious about it. It lightly snowed big fat wet snowflakes for about 2 hours and now we have just under an inch of wet soggy snow. Horrid for skiing, but fantastic for building a snowman or having snowball fights.
It has stopped snowing now, and I've a feeling that it will start melting rapidly. I'm hoping I'm wrong, the kids are going to be crushed if there is nothing left when they get home from school.
I took Shelby for a walk in what is her first snow. After getting over her fear of (what I think looked to her) the sky falling, she fully embraced snow and all that comes with it. She is now trying to get me to play the In and Out game. She asks to go out, plays in the snow for 5 to 10 minutes then asks to come in. Five to ten minutes later she wants to start the game all over. I decided that every time she goes out I'm going to crate her for a bit when she comes in. This means I don't have to wrestle her with a towel to get her dry (there are a few towels in the bottom of her crate) and I'm hoping it will convince her to play the game less frequently.
I'm starting to think longingly about those doggy doors made to fit into a sliding glass door. I don't think Hubby would go for it though.
It has started to snow again, which is increasing the chances of there still being snow on the ground when the kids get home.
Shelby is continuing to drive me nuts with the Inand Out game, and Indigo has joined in making it even more aggrivating. It wouldn't be so bad if we had her crate here in the house to put her in to dry out, but it is disassembled and put away out in the garage.
Right now, I'm enjoying watching the snow fall through the window, and I've got Paula's Home Cooking on the TV. I've got to turn the computer off now before I salivate all over the keyboard and short it out. I definitely need to try her chicken soup!

Well, at least #1 got to play in the snow. #2 is at swim practice, #3 hasn't gotten home yet, and the snow is almost gone.
Meanwhile, my house smells like chicken soup, and Shelby is extremely interested in investigating these smells coming from the stove. I've got her in the crate right now as I was tired of pulling her down from trying to climb up onto the counter next to the stove.
