You Hear Something New Every Day

I've never heard of doing this before, but may give it a try some day.

Habanero Vodka

Take a quart freezer jar, and fill with habaneros (or as many as you have). Fill the jar with vodka, cap and place in freezer. The vodka won't freeze, and it acquires the hotness of the peppers. Use a teaspoon or so to spice up marinades, salsas, etc.

Use concentrate for seasoning, NOT for drinking!

Yep my boys are perfect age to get into scouting, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately scouting here in South Auckland is not the wholesome activity it is elsewhere. My ex husband having been in the thick of it as a leader for many years I saw and heard more than I could handle.

Its a pretty sad state of affairs but its all about parents using it as a babysitting service and refusing to help out with anything and for the leaders its an excuse to get away from your partner every now and then and sleep with anything that breathes.

Two more years and CJ at least can join the local Air Force Cadets which is still reputable. Looking forward to that as they do all kinds of fun stuff and teach them good values too. Closest thing we have to military school.

Yep, I think there are muscles that are reserved ONLY for horseback riding. And BOY can they sing when you haven't used them in a while!!!!
