I came across this while surfing online today.

I may have to buy a red shirt or two. I have pink shirts ... maybe they will count. Although, I never mind having an excuse to shop!

    i agree about christian bale :)

    something dashing about that man playing batman and an excellent choice of actor. i thoroughly enjoyed that movie also, far more than the others

    Oooo! Thanks for the link to the meteor showers. Finding a viewing spot will be tricky, but if the skies are clear that night I just might try it. Someday I hope our permanent home will be out in the country a bit so I can mount a telescope and try to see more stuff. :)

    Wearing red on Friday wouldn't mean much to me, as I wear red a lot. I would have to stop wearing red altogether except on Friday to make a point.

    BTW: Thanks for the history lesson. I knew the basic story, but not the name of the woman who sewed the flag, nor did I remember the name of the doctor.

    You could be right about fireworks for the Fourth. It seems logical.

    I had heard about the meteor shower but I didn't realize it was coming up in August. I'll have to see about getting the kids and Thomas up and moving to see it. Hope you all had a great weekend as well.

    Thanks for the entry sweetie. I never knew there was more than one verse. I knew it was a poem but we only sing the first verse. As I always say you learn something new every day.

    I don't mean to argue, but I think the French National Anthem has a war connection, too :-)

    Thanks for the reminder about the meteor showers! I hope we have better weather than for the comet this week.
