Hubby is safe at home, so the day was fantastic! The rest of our day was rather boring (well, after we said hello to each other). We took the kids for hair cuts, and then went to Round Table to get pizza for the kids and salad for us. This was followed by going home and watching a movie. Doesn’t that just sound like a couple painting the town red? OK, maybe painting the town boring. As long as Hubby is with me, I don’t mind being bored at all.
Hubby has to be back at work Monday, but is going to try to get Tuesday and Wednesday off. He then has Friday off for a 4 day weekend. We are not sure yet what we will do for the 4th. Usually we drive down to Vancouver for the celebration there. We want to stay close to home this year though. Hubby will be gone most of the next month and a half, and we would like to spend our time doing things together other than driving for several hours.
