Worked Out
Fri Jun 17 2005

#2 and I got to the Y and spent about an hour there. We did a couple laps together then he headed over to the weights to focus on working the stress out of all his muscle groups.

When we were done and showered I noticed he looked considerably less pent up, so off to school we headed. He has asked if, once school is out, we can make this a routine, just he and I going to the Y a few mornings a week so he can continue on this trend. I didn't want to let him know that I had already planned on doing that, so I just agreed with him that it sounded like a good idea.

It is my intention to go there myself daily, and rotate between #1 and #2 on the mornings so they can each get there for a work out a few times a week.

I've signed the boys up for classes at the Y. #1 for an advanced swim class, #2 for TKD and #3 for swim and boys gymnastics. I've found in the past that keeping them busy makes for less aggravation on everyone's part during the summer. I am also hoping that by keeping me busy along side them at the Y, the world will see less of me as the summer progresses.

Ah, yes, it is my dream to become but a shadow of my current self!
