So, as I mentioned, Hubby and I are looking at re-finance options for the mortgages. Knowing that we will need a current appraisal for this, I started calling around to see about getting one.
The first call I made I got the voicemail instead of a person. The greeting surprised me so much, I had to call back to be sure I had heard it correctly. It turns out I had. The message identified the business as Joe Shmoe’s Real Estate Appraisal and Locker Beef.
Now there are two businesses that go hand in hand… in an alternate universe maybe.
I’m not sure how much confidence is installed by that business name. It definitely sounds Podunk in nature. Oh, I’m aware they may be totally legitimate, probably a mom & pop company that does one for the main business and the second as a supplement. It’s just … ya know?
