They were all extremely excited and wanted Hubby to break out his tape measure so they could find out exactly how big their rooms are. A bit of jealousy surfaced when #2 and #3 realized that #1 has the biggest of their rooms. After I pointed out that in our current house #2 has the biggest room and in the last house #3 had the biggest room, they all realized that it was OK for #1 to have a turn having the biggest room.
I didn't realize how excited they were until after we arrived home. I was diddling around the house doing the various things I do on the weekend, when I became aware of #1 walking through the house carrying something rather large. He had gone out to the shed, gotten a couple moving boxes and was about to delve into packing his room up.
Hubby and I reassured #1 that he would have LOTS of time to pack up as we aren't moving until the week of March 8, and instead recommended that he take some graph paper, measure his furniture and arrange his room on paper. That worked and kept him busy for the rest of the evening.
One thing that did surprise me was that there were workers actually working today. We have had freezing rain off and on all day, and things were rather slick out in spots. It reassured us that the workers up on the tops and sides of the houses were wearing harnesses, but it was still a bit worrysome. Despite that, it was exciting to see how much has changed in just a few days. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it looks after the ugly mustard colored areas are covered.
