I’ve been trying to get #1 out of bed for the last 30 minutes. I go in there every few minutes and harp on him to get up. I finally gave up and turned it over to Hubby. He managed to get #1 out of bed 30 seconds after entering his room. It’s amazing how effective an almost 40 year old grown man doing a cannon ball on top of a 14 year olds bed is at launching said 14 year old out of the bed. He has now stumbled to the kitchen and is bleary eyed searching the cupboards for acceptable items to break his fast. With as long as it is taking him, I suspect I will need to get more turkey and chicken pot pies soon. That has been the favorite breakfast item as of late. I’ve noticed a drastic increase in the appetites of both #1 and #2 since the start of swim practices this week. It’s amazing how 2 hours of hard swimming can increase the appetites of teenaged boys!

A Day In The Life
Dragging Through The Morning
Fri Nov 19 2004
Boy am I ever tired this morning. I was up far too late last night, and for a change it wasn’t due to insomnia. There was a teaser for a news story that I wanted to see, and it wasn’t on until the 11:00 News. Of course it was one of the last stories to run, so I was up for the duration of the news. By the time I stumbled to bed I had 5 hours left until the alarm went off. Thankfully I fell asleep approximately the same time my head hit the pillow. Now I’m looking forward to doing the same after I get #3 safely delivered to school. Yesterday I had looked forward to walking him to school again, today I only look forward to driving him there, driving back home and falling into bed.

- From:ImNotLisa (Legacy)On:Fri Nov 19 2004Alli - video cassette recorder!! :o) It works really well at letting one get to bed on time. Of course, I stay up way too late anyway, but I thought I'd give you a helpful tip. ;o)
- From:Dreamerbooks2003 (Legacy)On:Sat Nov 20 2004I can hardly see, (pain pills and no sleep) but drove my Dearest GS to his driving lesson. OOPS no driving, must have wrote down the wrong day
Then off to get hair cut.. Oh heck too much glue to keep them spikes up.. The gal charged extra to get the goop out..
Then he left his Bronco jacket in his locker and can't remember the combination..
The joys of teens.
Congrats on a great report on number 3..
That is wonderful
and encouraging
