Hmm...

Thanks to Sal. I thought the “Communists for Kerry” website was a spoof, after reading though many of the things on the site, I didn’t think it was serious.

Oh come on, you know me by now, there is always a “but” or a “however”.

However, go take a look at the website for the Communist Party. In case you don’t trust my link here, check it out yourself at http://www.cpusa.org/ I’ll wait until you get back. Did you notice anything? While I couldn't find anything outright that said "Vote For Kerry", I did look at the CPUSA Election Platform 2004. It bears a striking similarity to everything that Kerry is saying. It may not say "Vote For Kerry", but you will see "Don't Vote For Bush" sentiments everywhere.

I don’t necessarily agree with the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” theory. I tend to look at each party on its own merit; after all, the enemy of my enemy may be my enemy also. Come to think of it, if someone tells me a certain party is my enemy, I tend to not believe them until I confirm it for myself.

Admittedly I am a product of the Cold War era. My gut reaction is to do the exact opposite of something recommended by anyone(s) looking, smelling or resembling anything Communist.

But that’s just me.

If that list had been published by the Democratic Party, would you have made the same comment?

Let me assure you, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT believe that the Communist Party has anything to offer. I'm totally opposed to their basic ideology.

However, the 10 reasons sound like awfully good reasons, to me, not to vote for Bush. Regardless of who published the list.

    Shalom

As a parting gift for you old house, stick a couple of M80's in the toilet and flush on your way out. That will teach it what a geyser really is!
