Hubby & Other Stuff
Sat Oct 09 2004

All this hubbub with #3 has had Hubby quite stressed out for the last week. I had intended to pamper him now that it is all over, but he turned the tables on me. He normally wakes up before me, and weekend mornings tend to be a free-for-all as far as breakfast and any activities. This morning though, Hubby brought me breakfast in bed and then roused the family for a drive out to look at our dirt (again).

We were pleasantly surprised and excited to hear that our plans have been approved by the county, and the building permits were submitted earlier this week. We have very tentatively been told that the ground could be broken before the end of the month. Still, there is nothing certain, but if everything goes smoothly with the weather, there are no natural disasters, and all the people ahead of us have their process go smoothly, it could be our turn within that time frame.

YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

We are all excited about that now, and have a definite spring added to our step that had been sorely missed during the last week and a half. There are actual smiles on our faces, and we look … dare I say … happy!

What a difference a day can make.

As Scarlett O'Hara once said, "tomorrow is another day."

You know it probably made your hubby just as happy to do those things for you as if you had done them for him.

Congrats on the house, let 'em start digging soon. ;o)

I was wondering how you use your own graphics or the graphics from the site you got yours from on here?

Congrats on getting your boxes. And congrats about the county approval.

And so progress is made. If all goes well, you should be in your new home by Spring. Or before if you're extremely lucky.

I missed something. What happened with #3?

It must have been good, at least I assume so from the tone of this entry.

    Shalom

I think I'm all caught up on your diary now. Phew! Girl, you sound like me...to busy with no room to breathe.

That caramel apple recipe looked good, I'm really drooling now. I still have more canning ahead. My mom called to inform me that her neighbor has something coming out of her ears that I need to can. I have to call back tommorow cause I don't even know what it is!LOL. All I know is that it was planted in the peach orchard and there is enough for 4 households to have tons of it, whatever it is.

Glad you got boxes, those are always a pain to come by and the boxes the stores tend to give are'nt always that great. A.K.A. bannana boxes with holes in the bottom so stuff falls through.

That was so sweet of your hubby to spoil you like that even though he was super stressed. What a great guy!

    Have a great evening!

I tell you a secret. I don't like my 'warm Autumny colors' one bit. But I can't find anything else either. I like this, it's very pretty.
