I want to let you know that i am still here. I did not realize I haven’t written anything, yet, in April. I have been busy, but not so busy to not write in my journal here. I am not that busy anyway. Yet, I do have a life outside Dear Diary, but I do not work outside or inside my home that is an apartment. Some days it feels like a home when other days it does not feel like a home. Can you understand me? If not, sorry. I wish I live in a home/house more so than an apartment because an apartment building is a community, and we have some strange, weird, and odd neighbors at Garden Court, lol. I have a noisy neighbor above me every onc3 in a while, and a neighbor below me who states she does not like my caregiver Jackie, and she does not like me because I am associated with Jackie. Dang, she is my caregiver for a darn reason and she has told me that she is never going to quit or leave me hanging! If worst came, I would live with her and she will become my caregiver 24 hours a day. I can manage that for sure.

During the Week and Friday Night

For the past few days, I really did not have anything new to share. Jackie and I got out of my apartment after a dialysis treatment and we went to a Mexican restaurant called Hacienda Real. I had spinach and veggies on two chimichangas while Jackie had beef burritos. I did not have anything with steak. Last night, being Friday night, I had fish for supper with potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower blend for vegetables. It was yummy although the shape of the fish was something I have not seen before. The shape the fish were, last night, was an interesting shape I cannot describe. They were not square like I thought they were. The shape was interesting, though, lol. I ate them willingly because I like my Friday fish days and nights. Yum, I love fish.

The Weekend is Finally Here!

I am glad the weekend has arrived! Why? It was one of those weeks where my emotions went all over the place regarding with Deb, the very caregiver who took care of me while Jackie and her son, and brother went to Las Vegas, a trip that was made four years ago, but they could not go because of Covid. They finally got to go. I do not like it when she goes on vacation for a few days because my schedule gets messed up. Anyway, she id back from vacation since Tuesday and was back to work on Wednesday, and started dialysis at home again on Thursday. I did get to see my favorite techs and nurses while going to Fresenius on T, Th, and S, and again last T. I also was on the machine 2 hours and 45 minutes while visiting those days. Now, I am back to M, T, Th, and F, and have the weekend off. Now, going 3x a week on the 31, 2, and 4, and 7 was a treat and a joy to do. I have no plans this weekend and I think tomorrow, Sunday, I have a break from Deb, but I am not sure. Jackie’s brother goes back to Michigan today after being here and In Las Vegas last week. I like her brother a lot and consider my brother, too! He is a year younger than me.

Family

I will have to say that the dynamics in my family need a lot of help. I am thinking about contacting Dr. PhIl for help!
