Just in case anyone is using AtMail (atmail.atomic-systems.com) there’s been some upgrades this week enabling it to finally (I hope!) deal with attachments correctly. Another frequently requested upgrade was hotlinking of embedded email addresses and web URL’s which is now incorporated. The hotlinking will be incorporating into the forthcoming DearDiary 3.0 software as well… In…
We’ve had enough. No really, enough now. This whole parody lark with various different users pretending to be different people and third persons getting in on the fights and such like is getting just too difficult for our tiny heads to keep up with, and to be frank, why the hell should we? We are…
A number of people have requested it, and finally its here… If you go to Customize, General Diary Options, Basic Settings you’ll see a new option labelled ‘Your Timezone’. This is the number of hours difference between your time zone and GMT. So, if you’re in California (PST), choose -8, or if you are in…

It’s called ‘Secure Comments’ – it defaults to ON (the new mechanism that requires an Atomic account). If you clear this checkbox and…

I see our main DD nemesis has closed up shop… I couldn’t be happier about that! Thanks for taking care of us, Steve. You’re the best.
I’ve been hearing talk that putting one’s diary into Private status will safeguard against it’s being hacked into, or will help identify hackers. Any evidence that this is the case? I wasn’t convinced.
Also, maybe it’s time for a brief tutorial on how to change DD passwords. (Press the ‘personal’ button at top of diary and fill in password and confirmation fields with the new password.)
