Sometimes You Win

This is what a part of my garden looked like on February 27th:

This, after a lot of work, is what it looked like yesterday:

And from the other side of the garden:

So often in life, things don’t quite turn out like you hope they will. This time my project really DID match what was in my imagination. As a matter of fact, on many levels, this is a rather rare occurrence for me. Mostly because I have a very vivid imagination. I can conjure up some real fantastical things and it’s hard for reality to keep up.

I hope this is a trend. I … and all of us… could do with some dreams coming true eh? Even if all they are is a little patch of green to soothe the eyes and the psyche in the coming months of summer.

    That looks amazing!

    Did you seed it?

    Wow, that looks great.

  3. I wish I could come see it in person! Etna was one of our summer destinations. Tom had a fishing trip planned. Oh well! Eventually. I only have my tomatoes and a growing monster zucchini pot. The plant is huge. It is finally generatin* blooms. We are hoping for the best. Stay cool. Wicked temperatures coming our way.
