The Ball is in My Court

I’ve been busy over the last few days doing an evaluation of my life habits.

Here’s my worktable as of last night:

I decided that I wanted to make some adjustments. And I have to tell you, most of them are to just shut the mouth of a certain inner critic we all know and are annoyed with.

I thought it would be a pretty good motivator to give him the least amount of ammunition to bombard me with. Maybe force him into an early retirement.

(Fat chance.)

Hey, I can dream. I can have aspirations. And besides, you very often underestimate my tenacity.

(I also know that some of those things on your list have …. been on your list…. for a long time. Your track record is pretty spotty. I’m betting on plenty of work coming my way this year.)

We shall see about that.

I just sent an email to a friend and said… let’s make this the logo for this unique year we are about to step into:

What do you think?

Please excuse me while I go implement some of my plans. I’m starting today. In fact, I actually started yesterday. There’s no time like the present eh? I don’t have to wait around for the ball to drop. I OWN the ball!

Happy New Year!

Own it!

And here I was thinking of the “Roaring 20’s” for my logo.
    har har har

  2. Own it! That’s the way! Go for it.

  3. Mamallama says:

    Good on you!
    “Own it!” I like it!
