It’s now almost bedtime here on the 1st of December. Believe it or not, it has been a hectic day. I am worried for DKF and her husband, SF. SF’s father was taken to the hospital by ambulance because he was not feeling well. It came to DKF’s assumption that he had a TIA stroke. The doctors confirmed that something was going on that brought on the stroke, so Mr. F was admitted into the hospital, and he will have an echocardiogram, MRI, and other tests to find out what is going on. Mr. F has a leaky heart valveĀ (primary), and his son SF did until he had a mechanical valve placed. Knowing and understanding that SF is close to his Dad from what I’ve been told, I am sure that this medical scare is tugging at their hearts right now. I am empathetic as sympathetic. I have been there losing loved ones. Yes, Mr. F is still here, but his health is not at its best momentarily. I do not understand what TIA strokes are precisely, but by being told by someone who has been in the medical field, I know that it is a stroke warning the patient that another stroke is coming. This incident has been on my mind for several hours now.
