I'm only just starting to appreciate the joys of de-cluttering. There is something so freeing in the process. My current obsession is ridding my life of useless paper; 2 desks down, a filing left to go. Bring on the shredder! LOL

It seems that Panda and Ellie have much in common, although I think he may have a better sense of what to chew up than Ellie. She un-stuffs all the toys, too. And she eats walnuts-- in my bed! I've gotten very good at collecting all the little bits of shell from the comforter, and I never, EVER, forget to make the bed anymore!

The walnuts are dropped by the birds that nest in my big tree. I got so good at getting all the shells off my comforter that I've started buying Ellie and Jethro walnuts. I just barely crack them and let them at it. They aren't harmful to them, keep their intestines free of parasites (because of their very mild toxicity) and keep them occupied for a lot longer than a dog biscuit. Jethro only eats them because Ellie does, but he only eats a lot of things because Ellie seems to like it. Some of the things he doesn't actually eat, he just takes it and drops it on the floor, then looks at her like she's lost her little walnut-sized brain.
