Weekday On A Weekend

Today, though it is Sunday, I treated it like it was Monday.

Don’t know why, it just felt like the right thing to do.

Vacuuming, dusting, cooking, laundry, you name it.

I baked some nice gefilte fish to eat during the week. Made a huge pot of beef stew, and generally made myself useful.

At the end of the day I decided to get in a walk and went down to check on the beaver dam.

Things are looking tidy.

Well, ship shape for a beaver anyway. He has added some good sized branches since last I saw the lodge.

The dam is in good trim…

I sat quietly for a while to see if he would come out since the sun was going down, but didn’t see a thing. Really, I need a better strategy.

I’m getting to know the new camera.

It’s kind of nice that I don’t have to burn up 4 or 5 rolls of film on experiments. This is one thing about digital cameras that you just can’t argue with.

Here’s the paperwhite from the back yard.

So I have cleared the decks around here.

Tomorrow I can play with yarn with a clear conscience.

No matter WHAT the hen says.
