No Fooling Around

Today is ‘get down to business’ day.

I’ve been fooling around, [read having fun] doing knitting experiments and playing with some new watercolor tools long enough.

The house needs attention.

So it’s laundry, throwing stuff out, clearing out old papers and shredding them, making a Goodwill pile AGAIN, and right after I take this break to blog a bit, I’m tackling the refrigerator.

Expiration dates WILL be examined.

Science experiments WILL be banished.

Order will ensue.

It’s about time!

Well, *I* have my limits too Red, so don’t get pushy.

I went to the art supply store the other day and broke down and bought a small set of watercolors in tubes. It was on sale for 30% off that day… Score! And I bought two waterbrushes. They are paint brushes with a plastic handle that holds water so you don’t have to dip it all the time. They are very nice. I think I will used them a lot. Though there are times you want a ‘dry’ brush to pick up color or get a real intense bit of color on certain places, and the waterbrush won’t really let you do that. But as an overall handy brush, I can’t fault it.

I’m watching the green tomatoes growing larger and larger out in the garden. A few of them are starting to turn color. If all goes well, I should have enough to can, and for that I am very grateful.
Well, back to the list of things to do today. Tomorrow is knitting group and I will be going up the road to do a cat sitting job in the afternoon also, plus grocery shopping.

I’ll have a virtually empty fridge within the hour.

It will need to be filled with fresh stuff.

It never ends around here.

(You can say THAT again….)
