I never know when to plant my tomato seeds.
I may be early, I may be way too late, but for good or ill, they are now in the seed tray.
I bought seven kinds of tomato seeds this year, because I was slap out of them. There wasn't a tomato seed in sight.
Here's the rundown:
Silvery Fir Tree, Purple Russian, Amish Paste, Heatwave II, Tye Dye, Orange Wellington, and Velvet Red.
Some are from Seed Saver's Exchange and some from Burpee's.
It's cold outside today. The ground is sodden. I know this because yesterday I pulled up a bunch of stinking Bermuda grass out of my raised beds. No matter what I do, that stuff keeps coming back. OY it's annoying. I've promised Hub Man he can run power equipment this year in the raised beds. He's good with the power equipment. They could use a good turning over after all the hard rains we have had this winter.
The peach tree is blooming, though tentatively. It really is chilly out there. The peach tree has taken note of it.
Starting seeds may be the only productive thing that gets done today, as I seem to have a severe case of brain fog going on.
I had planned to go out and do some errands, but I'm slightly afraid I might get lost along the way under these conditions. One must know one's limitations …
(Yes Cupcake. One must. And your's are legion.)
It's a fact I cannot deny.
But the tomato seeds got planted by golly. At least I THINK they were tomato seeds….
Anyone notice how foggy it is in here???
