One of the dividends of cat sitting is having to drive by some of my favorite places to shop every day. Today, after checking in on the hungry kitties, I spent some time at Goodwill where I found an armload of new stuffed animals for the dogs to play with.
Last night I removed a particularly damp and smelly one from Snoopy's jaws before we went to bed and decided we needed some new blood. I mean fur.
Here is Snoopy, with his chosen toy. Sorry it's a little blurry. Light issues.
He is doing fairly well all things considered. All healed from his operation. It seems that he is going to retain a certain tendency to snap and snarl at our dogs and sometimes us if the conditions are right. Though he has never inflicted any serious damage. I'm on the fence about it. I think if he went to the right people, it would not be much of an issue. I will need to talk it over with the director and see what's what.
I have been on a mission these last couple of weeks, to clear out our freezer. Sounds like that impulse is going around here on DD. I have six more days until the Schwan's guy comes again and I want that puppy to be nigh on food free so I can stock up without guilt. Time to rotate!
(Only you could get excited about food rotation. It's pathetic really.)
There is nothing pathetic about it.
Food rotation is serious household business.
And don't you forget it!
(All right! All right! Sheesh, everyone is so INVESTED around here. If you don't believe me, just try taking that toy away from that short and tubby brown dog. . .)
