Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Travelling.

It's a mixed bag what what?

How can an orderly exit with well thought out packing, plus the leaving of gifts at your destination [ thus lightening the load] turn into such chaos by the time you return?

My house looks like a bomb went off in every room. The dogs are even taking up more room than they usually do. I sprung them from the kennel after paying the ransom and when she let them out of the dog run outside, I thought I was a gonner. Sunny jumped on the front of me while Ben bounced off the back. I drove them directly to the playground and let them run off  their heebie jeebies before letting them in the house which as stated before ALREADY looks like a disaster scene.

Fiona was a good girl and only knocked one picture off the wall while we were gone. She was very happy to see us, and has taken to standing on my chest and talking to me. I'm not sure if I'm getting sweet nothings or lectures about leaving cats alone too long. Either way, she seems to have strong opinions on the subject.

I cannot fool around today either, as I was told we will be getting our new foster tomorrow or the next day. Ergo, I must begin.

Now if I could just get these dogs back down to their normal size…and Fiona off my chest, that would help.
