The Narrow And the Wide Path of Life – We Are In a Race

Are you struggling in your life, some way, some how? Maybe it is physical pain, or something to do with your mental state of mind. It could be a number of things that any one of us is suffering through. I am with any one of you. Emotional and physical pain are the thorns I must bear daily.

Many of us wish ourselves to be 6′ under. That would be the easy way out, wouldn’t it? Suffering would be finished. I have had many times in my life when I have considered suicide. But, honestly, I don’t feel that is the way to go. It would be hell if we were to end this life of misery, only be be born again and starting the same game of life over again.

I am weary of this life, and I know that many of you feel the same exact way. When will this end? Is there ever going to be an end to this miserable existance we call life? If you feel that way, you are not alone.

There is coming a time when we will finally be free from the insanity this world has evolved into. There are some of us who just living, going through the motions. Life is dull, unentertaining, and boring. We are here wishing that something grand would happen in our life because there just doesn’t seem to be any sense to why in the world we are living anyway, right? I feel that way.

Each day, I wonder why I am living in this existance. I don’t care for material things anymore. I have no desire to indulge in the things people seem to think make up life. I want to move on, to go where there is love, to be free from pain, to live a joyous, happy life. We all want that, but we seem stuck in this dark void of existance where evil seems to be abounding rather than love.

We see it before us, the continuous lies that fill the news wires every single day. People are so asleep that the truth can’t seem to penetrate their minds and hearts. This world is filled with too much self, violence, and negativity. Yet, there are those of us who are yearning for some change to happen, and we are becoming impatient with all the garbage in this world.

I think that having lost every material thing, for the most part, at least 4 times in my recent life, has taught me the value of myself as a human being. So many people out there think that they have to have things….those material gadgets we all “must” have. But things are just a status symbol if you think about it. If you have things, but have no love in your heart, you are not living. Those things you have, are just plain moot.

I have realized that I don’t need those things to make me happy. In fact, things make me unhappy. When something is new, you cherish it, because it is new. After awhile, it gets old, doesn’t it? What happens with a thing gets old to you? It is set aside, buried in the closet, put in the garage or attic or under the bed. It winds up collecting dust, and eventually forgotten. Our bodies, minds and souls can never truly be forgotten like that of a material thing. We live in them each and every day.

What makes us humans is the simple fact that we are living flesh, all of us made the same way, only in our own unique fashion. All of us have hearts, however, many have run cold. All of us have minds, however, many have been distorted into programmed thinking. All of us have bodies, however, most of us abuse our bodies without even realizing it. We are living in a garbage waste dump, the same kind of place that those things we cherish end up being in.

As of late, I have come to realize that when I am out in nature sitting among the trees of the woods, or along the ocean shore, this is where I am most at home, and most at peace. Nothing beats the glorious sun beating down on my body, warming me from within. Nothing beats nature’s silent sounds that are soothing to the mind and soul.

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of the stigma of man’s laws. The more laws we have in this land, the more stifling it is getting to live. You can’t grow a vegetable garden because it is against the law? Where is freedom? It has been taken from us, because we are allowing it to happen, in the name that law is right.

Are you at a point in your life that you don’t feel like this is “home” to you? Do you feel lost on this Earth, as though you don’t belong? You’re not alone in your thinking. But, here is a thought. Maybe this isn’t “home”, yet it is coming to us. I believe that we are heading into a new era of time that we will be seeing heaven on Earth coming to us.

I mean, if you read the Bible, it does state that those who follow the righteous ways will inherit the Earth. There is a change coming. Could this change be that we are going to see a drastic change upon this Earth that ushers in pure love, and all evil will be abolished? Along with that, nature as it is intended will return.

Of course, if you don’t feel this coming of whatever is coming, then I have no advice for you. I feel something, very strongly, within, telling me that we are upon a glorious time that we are about to witness.

For a long time, I have been reminded of the Bible’s story of Noah. We keep hearing of this type of thing ….they call it “Armegeddon”, “The End Times”, etc. Those that make it all sound so fearful are fearmongers. They are put here to instill fear upon the human race, so that you don’t accept this challenge, to better yourself, so that you might enter this new era

There are two roads in life in which one can choose to go down. The wide road, which could be considered Easy St. is well-travelled. It is the road which has the best of everything life could offer. It might even be considered the road of roses. This road, for many might be like a highway…paved, flat, not many hills. It seems easy, and sure, the temptation to follow this road is great. While you might have a great time on this road, there are far too many avenues that lead off this wide road, leading you deeper into the dark recesses of life. This road eventually leads you to complete destruction.

The narrow road is the lesser travelled road. It isn’t easy to travel like Easy St. might be. It has its rough spots, where it might get trecherous. It has it’s steep hills in which to climb. Every once in awhile, you get over that moutain, and have it easy, only to find you’re climbing another mountain. It is never ending. But, this road eventually leads to life.

You see, if you live life easy, always getting your way, having what you want when you want, you become complacent. It is those who have lived a life of suffering who will inherit the Earth. It is those who have endured hardship, who have become toughened against life’s curveballs who can make it on the narrow path, climbing those mountains, enduring through the rough spots that they might encounter, who can withstand anything that comes their way.

We are coming to a time when those of you who have been pampered in your lives, the ones who have relied on this microwave society of instantaneous gratification who are going to find the coming times to be unbearable. You who have relied on the things of this world to help you through life will have a rude awakening. When those things evaporate in your hands, where will you be?

For instance, so many of us rely on cellphones. I have encounted many people who, when faced with losing signal actually go bonkers because they can not live without those little mechanical devices. Or what about tvholics? When the time comes that these material things no longer suffice in life, what will happen to you who can not live without your favorite shows, or texting, or your computer? You will not know how to live.

This is a time in which, now, we need to sit down and evaluate ourselves from within. We are ALL a part of the collective whole of humanity. But are we truly doing our part? These material prizes we cling onto in this life will never get us very far. Our minds have been hijacked. Why? Because those beings who have been sent here to destroy us, don’t want us to better ourselves. Therefore, we have become a species who has gotten caught up in a lie. We need to open our minds and our hearts, otherwise we will perish under our own demise.

I believe that, for those of us who are awake and aware, will experience turmoil in our surroundings, because we are fighting a battle of unseen forces. Those living in the dark, are still indulging in the 3rd dimension of duality. Those of us who are awake, are trying to break free from this duality, because it can no longer inhabit our minds and bodies. While we are struggling to free ourselves, those in the dark don’t understand this, and if they aren’t awakened, it is doubtful that they ever will.

It truly is sad to sit back and watch those people you have known, maybe for many years, slipping into a delusional world, and seem to be fading away. I have been experiencing this for the last couple of years. As time goes on, my world seems to be going by in a blur. Things that have happened, even in the recent past, seem like it has been eons ago already. Since 2000, my time perception has increased. What happened two weeks ago, seems like it is already a distant memory.

But, so many around me, are still living in their existing worlds, not seeming to move forward. They seem stuck in the 3rd dimension, and who knows..might stay there, as those of us who have been working on our inner worlds, our spiritual self, becoming one with nature and all that there is around us, will move into something completely new and different.

I know I am ready for new and different. Are you? Have you found this life to be mundane? I have. I want something exciting to happen. I am bored of the same things I have learned throughout my life, and feel that there is something more out there. What, I have no idea, but I am ready for it.

I have been reminded of the days of Noah. In those days, Noah was deemed as insane by those around him. I mean, here is a guy, out in the middle of the desert, seemingly wasting his time constructing this huge wooden thing. Why? It was a desert, for pete’s sake, right?

Noah listened to God. Though Noah might have been considered crazy while the rest of the people went around partying, living it up, not worrying about anything but the life that they were living, he had listened to the word of God that spoke into his heart to build that. Why? Because as he listened to his heart, he felt that something was coming that he needed to be ready for.

This is a time like that. There are many of us that have heard the warning. But, we are thought of as insane or nuts, and that it is just the voices in our own minds. We are crazy to think that something is coming. Just like Noah. When all was said and done, in Noah’s life, when the time came, Noah was more than ready to file his family and two of each animal onto that boat. Was he, therefore, crazy, when 40 days and 40 nights of rain that flooded the Earth came, and he was safe while those who partied like it was 1999 perished because of their foolishness? I don’t think so.

Take heed, my dear fellow humans. We are coming to a time that will change everything as we know it. Don’t allow yourself to be drawn into the fearmonger’s ways. It isn’t the end of the world. It is the end of time as we know it. The world will live on, but those who are not right in their minds and souls….well, I don’t know your demise.

Again, we are running a race. Are you in that race, or have you veered off one of those paths from Easy St. and are loving the things of the world that you can not take with you when things change? Or have you chosen that trecherous path, but are enduring the troubles in order to see the finish line?

We are like athletes, in a way. We are training for this race of life. Anyone knows that physical training is not easy, and giving up is the easy way out. Though, if you want to win that road race, or whatever type of event you’re entering, you have to be in tip-top shape. Right? This goes for our souls. If we are lackluster in our souls, and have not been exercising it through meditation, then the soul is weak, and you will not be able to withstand it. You won’t win the race of life if you have lost the ability to use your soul correctly.

I ask all of you, no matter where you are, to look within yourselves. Are you living the life of the material world, or are you living the soulful life? The latter is what we all should be striving for, but sadly, not all realize it.

Venus Transit: Calling All Relationships

Next week is going to be a profound time for those who indulge in spiritual practices. There are three powerful celestial happenings coming our way on June 4-5, 2012. On June 4th, in the morning hours, the west will be able to view a partial eclipse of the moon, which by nightfall (7:15 pm EST), a full moon will occur. Just threse two events can bring profound energies into our human bodies (you know the crazies come out during a full moon….but a lunar eclipse and full moon in the same day, just hours apart….whoa!).

The next day, in the evening (9:30 PM EST), we are going to be blessed with a rare and exciting celestial phenomenon. This event happens only twice in 8 years and every 113-130 years. So, we are due for some excitement next week.

The Venus Transit is when the planet passes over the sun in an eclipse of sorts. What is happening is that Venus, which has been viewed now as the Evening Star, also known as the “wishing star” (you know…”star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight….”) is moving to becoming the Morning Star. She will be seen as the bright star of the early morning hours, as she is seen at dusk now.

The Venus Transit always ushers in communication breakthroughs. In the Venus Transit of 1874, what we know as the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable (what brought us the ability to communicate all over the world) was created. So, what is in store for us in this Venus Transit. Because it is spiritual, it is intuitive communication that will be the forefront of this great universal event.

As individual humans, we should be asking ourselves, during this time, such questions as, “What are we communicating with others, love or fear?”, “How is media (internet, computer games, movies, tv, cellphones, etc) affecting society as a whole. That answer is easy…we are losing one-on-one, face-to-face personal interactions in our communications with each other.

What I mean is, texting emailing, and Facebooking have taken over our ways of communicating. Ponder this for a moment. How often do you have those great converstations with anyone face-to-face anymore? With email and texting, we have lost the ability to see the body language of the other person we are communicating with. And, by the way, body language is a very important factor in determining how to react, or what to say to another. This is why there is so much miscommunication among people. By losing this precious form of communication, we are becoming a dysfunctional world.

Today, we live in something like a microwave type society. This has invaded our communicational ability. How many of us know how to spell anymore? We are so used to hyphonating our words in those little devices we call cellphones. This is happening so much, people are actually integrating this into verbal speech. I am one of those who does not own a cellphone. Anymore, I find it more and more difficult to communicate with people because they don’t make sense to me when they speak. A communication breakdown occurs and I am no longer able to have meaningful conversations.

Anyway, so we are heading into this amazing time of this Venus Transit event. What does this mean? Well, for starters, the planet Venus, and her energies, represents relationships with others. A successfully good relationship has good communication skills, mutual respect and consideration for the other individual involved. s
Having these attributes is a good foundation to building positive, peaceful relationships.

How many of our relationships these days lacks these qualities? Most of them. This is why we are a dysfunctional society of dysfunctional relationships. We are broken. We can be fixed. This time, celestially, is a good time to start reflecting on how you are in regards to yourself in relations with others. It is also a time to realize you can have a great opportunity to begin healing perceived wounds from others and healing of conflicts in those relationships.

Because of the celestial events along with other alignments, this is an awakening of Divine Feminine energies. What this means is that all of us should embark on embracing the feminine and masculine sides of our inner selves. I don’t mean it for men to think that they have to become effeminite. Not at all.

This transit means that there is an emphasis on developing deeper, intristically meaningful qualities in relationships. For yourself, it should be your self-worth, intimacy, trust, unconditional love and compassion. Not many people have these qualites within themselves anymore.

Another planet worth mentioning is Neptune. This planet is the higher octave of Venus (the masculine aspect of her). He is transiting into Pisces, which is his ruling sign. This event in itself promotes increased personal influence in our own lives. With this union, it infuses a higher spiriitual energy. A renewed desire for Sacred Love (more on this later) might be a calling you’re beginning to feel in your heart.

Right now there is a call to open our hearts. It is an important time to recognize a deeper value of feminine qualities and importance of maintaining both masculine and feminine energies within our being. The Venus Transit is made up of “Anima”(the feminine side) of our psyche and “Animus” (the masculine side) of our being.

Venus will be eclipsing the sun. So for a time, it will overshadow part of the light of the sun. The sun, itself, symbolizes our need to consider feminine expression first before the masculine. Why? As we all know, feminitity is softer than masculinity. It is through our feminine energies (which we all have, even if you are male) that we can allow them to guide and balance out the masculine expression.

Over the years, patriarchal organizations have repressed the feminine wisdom of the world. In the last 8 years, however, we have been privy to the accomplishments of wisdom and significance of many powerful women. With this, we recognize the truth in how women do affect history. But, because this has become a man’s world, women are demeaned, therefore they are not allowed to express anything in society.

During this time, we are given ample opportunity to realize that Divine energies are emerging, infusing with human consciousness. During this time, more compassion in the hearts of people all over will awaken and expand. With compassion awakening, one will be able to feel safe in expressing unconditional love, something this world is lacking greatly.

When unconditional love can be expressed freely, it is supported by seeing the Divine in others. When we see the Divine expression of love in others, we act in integrity with pure love. When love is compassionately given, without expectations (unconditional love) we find ourselves immersed in the highest form of love any human being can express.

Unconditional love supports healing of selves, healing of others and personal evolution. Forgivness is the key way to access this Divine Feminine healing energy. Forgiving all percieved wrongs. This liberates us from emotional pain. This is also what releases ourselves from the past, which hinders spiritual progress. It helps us to live fully in the “now”.

Venus, herself, represents creative and artistic sides of our natures. This transit can bring about previously hidden, latent artistic talent and creative abilities. For instance, someone might never have thought about expressing themselves through music because they feel they don’t have the talent. This time could bring about the hidden talent of using a musical instrument.

Right now, our world is in dire need of creative solutions for the problems that we face in society. Our world needs more feminine wisdom. We all know mothers are wonderful people in our lives, without them, we might not know what we know. They are full of wisdom, are they not? Our world also needs love to heal the woes this world is facing.

These powerful energies that are in the process of happening will increase dramatically. So, it is important to note that this should be a time for deep meditation. The artistic ablities that have lain dormant will begin to emerge, even out of those who don’t feel they had any talents.

This transit is also a time for deeper honesty in relationships. Intuitive levels of communication will begin to develop. Intuitive awareness will be heightened during this time, and hidden emotions and desires will emerge. We will also become in more awareness of our partner’s hidden emotions and desires. What we are entering is an age where no one will need or even be able to hide their true feelings from each other. So, those deep dark secrets you have been keeping under wraps…they are going to come out, whether you want them to or not. But because we no longer will be able to mask our inner hearts from others will create total trust and love for each other. Something else we lack in our world.

It is those unresolved, repressed emotions that have unconsciously caused dysfunctionality and unhappiness in our relationships. It is these emotions that undermine our relationships, block intimacy and cause breakdowns in communication. Shadows of these emotions block our ability to love one another completely and unreservedly in unconditional love. These have started in childhood, or could have been brought over from past lifetimes.

Our world is made up of people who are bogged down with conscious and unconscious fear-based emotions. These emotions are obstacles to this great higher love. Right now is a good time to pay attention and observe our feelings and behaviors in our dealings with others we come in contact with. We need to come to terms with our own dysfunctions in emotional patterns. Something else that is important to think about is the fact that we, each as individuals, need to take responsibility in our relationships. Stop the blame game for your own issues.

As we know, we lack in being trustworthy toward others. How many of us are truly open and honest with others? When is it that you emotionally shut down on someone? Where are your boundaries. Are those boundaries healthy or are they blocking intimacy in your relationships? Ask yourself these questions this week.

Venus is a busy feminine energy planet. She also respresents our values and what we appreciate most in life. If you haven’t thought about that in a while, this is a time for you to consider what is important in your values and what it is that you appreciate in life. Thanksgiving is not the only time that we should give appreciation and thanks for what we have, and who is in our lives.

This is a time now, to let others in your life know how much you appreciate them and their unique qualities. It should not be something you are doing out of obligation. It should come from a true love of those people…from your heart, not your head. It should flow freely from you on every occasion that you think of them. What you appreciate, appreciates.

This is also a great time in which you can do some soul-searching, accomplishing self-understanding. Personal mastery is also a great thing to work on improving. We tend to neglect working on our inner being (and dysfunction is a symptom of this). The way to work on these things is observing ourselves through our relationships.

Personal mastery of ego comes from observing our interrelations with those in our lives. The best thing to do is live by the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I try to live by that rule. You want to be respected, you got to respect another first. You want love, you got to love another first. Simple. When you do this, it supports the mastery of your human self and your relationships will follow suit. It has to begin within yourself first and foremost. The highest good for all concerned should be thoughts that you ponder daily.

We all have the power to influence evolution in the world. If we do this, individually, collectively it will occur. Each of us is part of the collective whole of consciousness. With racism, hatred and violence, we have lost the value in knowing that we are connected with all people as one. When one person evolves spiritually, humanity follows and evolves as well. That is how powerful we are if we are on a spiritual level. When one person increases in their compassion and unconditional love for another human, the vibrational frequency, in which our bodies work under, raises, as well as helping others raise in vibration as well. When the vibrational frequency raises the collective consciousness evolves as well as our own individual consciousness raises at the same time.

Our most ultimate sacred relationship that we can have is that with our Higher Self. Our egos are the extension of our Source of being. This manifests in each of our individual expression of consciousness. So, if you are bent toward destruction, not only is your mind, but your whole being is going in that direction. Likewise, if you are love, then your consciousness and being are full of love.

Each of our relationships with others begins as an outward manifestation or reflection of our relationship with our inner Higher Self. Do you have a good relationship with your inner you? If not, then you probably don’t have meaningful, quality, lasting relationships. When you integrate your ego self with your Higher Self, then it will also reflect in your union with other souls. Therefore, first, we must begin to develop a deep Sacred Love within ourselves.

Do you love who you are at this time in your life? In other words, do you enjoy living in your own skin? If you answer no, then you really need to dig deep within yourself and start searching for that love of self. If you love who you are, then this will be reflected into the world and those around you know that you are comfortable being you. When you are connected in love to your inner Higher being, then it will be natural to attract higher love into relationships.

We need to keep in mind that each of us, no matter who you are, no matter what your race is, what you look like, what gender you are, what sexual preferrence you’ve chosen, or anything about your unique being, are a big part of the greater whole. We have been dulled so much in society that we forget that we are created as spiritual beings. We have been come completely disconnected from this reality. Therefore, we have sunk into the illusion that life is what we are living right now.

We need to keep in mind, as well, that love, unconditional love, not this superficial love that we give others that we say is love, is a recognition that we are ALL THAT IS, and nothing else. Unlike superficial love that the world gives, uncondtional love is the acknowledgment in our hearts that we appreciate our oneness with each person we are aquainted with.

Superficial love is fear-based. It is conditional. It doesn’t allow the other person to be who they really are as a human being. If someone is hard to love because of some dysfunction, then love the person, just not the act. It is hard, yes, but this is what true love consists of; loving the unloving. This is also Sacred Love; love that expands when the Divine in one person appreciates and honors the Divine in another.

Sacred Love in motion is a love that can literally bring Heaven on Earth and it can manifest in individuals who are connected to their Higher Self. Can you imagine inner peace becoming a reality in your life? It can. Through reconnecting to your Higher Self, you can find that deep inner peace where even if turmoil and chaos on the outside world exists, your inner world is filled with a peace that can never be destroyed.

This Venus Transit is a time in which you can take the window of opportunity to create your own spiritual destiny in pure harmony. This will replace our outdated society of war and conflict that we have been dealing with for centuries. Wouldn’t you like to see peace, love, joy and harmony abounding on this Earth we call Home?? It can, but it must begin with YOU.

There is coming a greater and more advanced spiritual understanding. This window that is opening is just the tip of the iceburg. We are entering the Age of Aquarius..the Golden Age when love returns. The integration of these energies is the catapult to the removal of the dark entities.

If you have never given meditation, or connecting to your Higher Self a thought, this week you should consider the possibilities that you will soon be able to create through the work of your soul and your Higher Self.
