Dairy, it was a pretty newsworthy morning…for me at least. First I hear that my buddy was on the front page of the local paper. I didn’t hear what for so I figured he had murdered his wife and hid the body and kept cashing her disability checks, or maybe he got busted for running some kind of scam, or maybe he was suing my employer(he has a history of this), but it was about an out of work person buying a nice set of clothes for under $20, $19.04 to be precise.

Then I turn the page and there is my neighbor across the street doing a guest column on the national insurance situation. I haven’t read the column yet, I disagree with his politics in general so I’ll probably disagree with this.

The most significant thing was Lynn called me and said that she had just dropped Jamie off to drive for drivers ed. She got a call from the instructor last night after I had already left for work. It was nice not to have to worry about it, get a call and he’s there. Surprisingly enough Lynn doesn’t seem nervous about it either. Kimber isn’t driving yet and she was more nervous than Jamie. Next week he may be able to get his permit. I reckon I’ll get him on some of the back roads that don’t have much traffic to start with. The instructor asked Lynn if he had any experience? It soundt like a trick question to me, since he hasn’t suppose to have had any. But I reckon most get some type of experience before drivers ed. Jamie did good on our driving lessons in the church parking lot, he didn’t seem to care if he drove or not but he did ok.

Well I guess I’d better get off of here and get me a bowl of ice cream before bed.
