Dairy, yep, it was a lay-off. They are cutting most of the 12 hour shifts to 8 hours five days a week. That means they are going from 4 to 3 shifts in those areas. So somebody has to go. My department is already on 3 shifts and short handed; we was told last night that we are safe…for now. They say it will take 3 days to get everything sorted out, so those who are on 12 hours have 2 more days to worry.
