Dairy,
It’s been a busy week. We arsn’t suppose to work over 60 hours per pay period in my department(we knead hour wrest), but I hit’em for 60.5+. I figured weeks like this don’t come along often, at least not on my job, there is only one machine, so I took advantage of it. To be honest I wouldn’t want to do it more than once a month. I’m not sure it’s worth the wear on the body. I put more wear on my body at the tire plant than I should have and I’m not going to do it again, well no more than they’ll let me. There are a couple of guys who get close to 60 most weeks because there are 5 or 6 of their machines. I checked with them to see what would be said for going over and was told only one supervisor might say something, but that’s all they he do, say something.
Dairy, I still arsn’t heard nothing official about going to 3rd shift, so I reckon I’ll be on 2nd for at least another week.
Dairy, a whole bunch of guys got hit with some bad news today. They found out that they had too much vacation time given to them by mistake. Most lost a couple of days. They put it our checks every week how much we have so I reckon some guys didn’t keep up with it on their own. One dude has already took all of his so he will lose days next year. I don’t reckon I feel to sorry for them, they should have known how many days they get and how many they have taken. Most people keep up with stuff like that to keep from getting shorted, so I feel sure that at least some of them knew they too much time given to them and the was gonna keep it quite.
Dairy, I thunk of another advantage on going to 3rd. I’ll get to eat more of Lynn’s good cooking while it’s still hot and fresh instead of heated up in the microwave. I tell ya Dairy, Lynn’s gonna twist this next statement but I’ll say it anyway. She has gotten to be a very good cook. Now ya see she’ll take it as she use to didn’t be a good cook, which isn’t true. She’s just getting better and better all the time. Of course, she does have a culinary goof once in awhile, like she might take the skin off the chicken before cooking it, or maybe cutting off a great big juicy piece of fat off some ribs. To be honest I think her cooking is getting to grandma-like, yes sir after a comment like that she ort to cook me up a big old mess of collards and some spare ribs(WITH A GREAT BIG PIECE OF FAT ON’EM) and maybe one of them delicious sweet potatoe pies that she makes so good.
Well Dairy, it’s 4:30 in the a.m. so I had better go to bed, see ya later dude.
ECCLESIASTES 5:7 FOR IN THE MULTITUDE OF DREAMS AND MANY WORDS THERE ARE ALSO DIVERS VANITIES; BUT FEAR THOU GOD.
