Dairy,
We got our building all cleaned up for the big tour tomorrow. It wasn’t really fair, we are the only building in the manufacturing area that will be walked all the way through, so we had to do more painting and cleaning than some of the other buildings. Well painting and cleaning pays the same as running a machine so what the heck, plus it gave me lots of overtime the last few weeks.

Dairy, right in the central area of my machine we gots this great big ceiling fan, I bet the blades are 15 or 20 feet long, whale anyway, right in the center of the fan is a picture of a donkeys rear and the slogan “Big A**Fan”.
Wail last saturday I was in there painting and the plant manager was in there. I stopped him asked if we was doing all this cleaning to give off a good image? He said yes and I asked if he had ever looked at the fan. He never had, I told him that just didn’t fit the image of the company I tell people I work for and that I rather my wife and kids not see that. He said he didn’t like it either and it would be painted over. And it was.

Dairy, I understand the logo and the play on words and all that, and I know that my kids arsn’t really little and it wouldn’t be big deal for them to see it, but there will be lots of little kids in there tomorow and I’d rather them not see it. I sawed some guys looking at the fan and talking about it this week and I heard one dude say he had told his wife about the “big a** fan”, he seemed disapointed that she wouldn’t get to see it. It was a pretty good conversation piece. But now it is just silver spray paint. Well I maid my impact on the tours.
