Dairy old pal,
Dude I got to report for jury duty tomorrow. Didn’t need me today and I thunk I was gonna get through the week with out having to report. Oh well.

I called today to confirm my orientation for next week. I have to be there sunday evening by 6:30 if I can. Dairy they gave me a whole list of things I need to take. Most of it wasn’t too bad but what really got me was when she said no shorts and collered or maybe it’s collared shirts only. Dairy about all I ever wear is shorts and t-shirts. We went shopping. We went to goodwill and got me several pair of pants. We went to K-mart and found some shirts on clearance for six dollars. We went to pay and they rang up as $3.50, that was less than buying used ones at goodwill, that was a big help. So I got 3 pairs of pants and 6 shirts for less than $30. I also had to get a Motor Carrier Road Atlas. I had to go to a truck stop for that one. I found one for $19 that was paper and then Eagle-Eye Lynn found one that was tear-proof and spill-proof(plastic) for $29. I figure I may as well get the better one. I reckon I’m all ready now Dairy.

I talked to one of the dude’s I went to school with today. He was in California. They didn’t waste no time putting him on the road. It’s gonna take me 2 weeks before I go on the road. I almost went to the same place he went. He’s gonna run teams with his wife. He told me the team deal was pretty good with his company but he didn’t think he would have went with them if he was gonna go solo. He explained why but his radio was breaking up and I didn’t understand. I guess I made a good decision, good or bad I’ve made it and now I’ll stick with it for awhile.

Dairy, it’s getting closer to time for me to go and I’m already starting to miss Lynn and the kids(and I still have 6 before I leave).

Dairy not only do I have to wear long pants and a collared shirt but I have to have my hair cut neat and above the collar. I also can’t be wearing earrings or posts. I don’t have to worry about the hair I always cut it when it gets to about 1/4 inch. I don’t have to worry about earrings, I arsn’t into that. I just hope they don’t spring a clean shaven policy on me. I don’t shave regularly like most folks I usually wait until 2 or three days after it starts itching. The reason I don’t shave when it first starts itching is because I’m too cotton-pickin lazy to do anything as soon as it needs doing. Did I say I’m lazy, what I meant to say was I don’t rush into anything without first weighing everything that is involved. Yea!! That’s it I just don’t rush into anything, that sounds much better than being lazy.
