What goes around comes around… a very prophetic statement of fact… what we reap we sow… what paths we follow and experiences we create and have at some point in time will wrap themselves around us and we will feel the effects of our actions… if we ignore things we will at some point be ignored… if we deny we will be denied… that is just how life works out… we get the balance at some point… it is however very difficult when the imbalance or critical aspects come from within the fold of our homes… or family… for the most part we do expect those outside to look in and with rose colored glasses tell us what we should or could have done better… we expect those within the family to over stand a bit more… children can be cruel without over standing their actions… they simply feel they are being themselves… tactless and without concern they say and do things because they feel the need… we have all been there to some degree… there are those however that take it to an art form… leaping the walls and finding it necessary to drive home the point… for them and I have had a small taste of it in my own family butt just a small taste… it is necessary to draw a line… and to leave it at that… there are in all ways many factors for behavior… too many to simply say that this is what you should do or this is how this is handled… we are all experts at our own family circles… because we over stand the many aspects that others simply cannot grasp from looking in… in my own home there is the typical teenage angst that comes with maturity… still a child… yet feels like an adult… there is tragedy in that… for they say and do things that cut deeply to the core and then want to simply ignore they ever said anything at all… and that does not help the situation to be forgiven or forgotten… many years of being together and building up trust can be destroyed in a single action… they simply are beyond that knowledge… and others well they love to see hurt… they love to be a witness to the walls tumbling down… or in their minds seeing some form of justice… witch is not a justice at all… just some how getting back at another… again if you have siblings we all know the inner competition and forces that come to bear… siblings have that love hate relationship… and some times it gets too far to one side… and there is no bringing it back to a balance… space is about the only thing that gives one peace… your own peace… your own solitude of mind… I am up early today... can't sleep... doing the taxes always gives me the willies... checking and re-checking to see if I made a mistake... I hate that feeling that when I see a return I am wondering if I made a mistake and I am going to get audited and have to pay a huge fine for a minor misplacement of a decimal point... I hate taxes... especially when I see how much we pay... the cost of being in a open society... what I hate more is how much is used so poorly and frittered away on useless projects... perhaps now when the tide has reversed itself a bit people will take into account that there is nothing that is truly free... eventually the bill does come due... and we see that when we sit and do the tax returns... Every small bit contributes to a much larger peace… we can at times forget out contributions have meaning… we can get captured in the everyday and lose sight of the exceptional day that shakes the foundation of the world a bit… so caught up in our differences we fail to see the similarities… it is what we sort for when we see another… we look for what is different… not what is the same… we measure things in that way… what they have as compared to what I have… there is little hope that will change… the problems of the world center on those degrees of difference… Differences is what also makes us more interesting to one another… that makes for a challenge as we are both attracted and pulled apart by the same element… a double edged sword… on one side we have the intrigue of getting to know some one who has different ideas and perhaps concepts about life than we do… on the other side we have the challenge of dealing with those ideas and concepts that are opposite of ours… how do we compromise… can we even find a place where we agree… a lot of times the places we can agree are many… butt we find the places we can’t to be the barriers...
