2 days ago i noticed that Emily was spending more time resting in her cage after breakfast then playing. Normally, all birds have a down period in the mid afternoon. However, emily is a little quiet for my comfort. Her eating is good, stools are good and all the other signs of health are there. Except this extended rest period. Yesterday, i put her back on Meloxicam 2x daily. She seemed more perky yesterday as well. Coincidence? Mabe, who knows. Other then that, all birds are still happy , healthy and are not presenting any reason for concern. Keep our fingers crossed.
