Ok,it's been a long time since I wrote my last entry but there's a lot going on at university and I rarely have any free time.
I have lots of courses I take, maybe too much, I don't know.
First of all, I decided to drop Tax law because it's really really boring.
I'll take:
European and Public Law 2
IT-Law Basics
Telecommunication and Medialaw
French 2
English 3
Work- and Sociallaw
Accounting 2
and one course about html, creating homepages, spreadsheets,...
It's a lot for now, but I'm sure it will get better next year. I totally passed the politics of econexam which was extremely hard, and the European and Public lawexam, however, I failed the cost calculation exam...(Normally 90% would have failed the exam and because of that they changed the grading system but in spite of that, I didn't pass).
English 3 is a lot of work, and just about bonds, funds, creditors, executive boards,... and I'm still thinking that it must get better. My driving test didn't go that well, it's a long story but I do not care about it anymore...My driving instructor and the examiner were making anti-womenjokes all the time, and it was just rediculous that only one out of 7 passed the test...he was just supersuperexact and not like any other examiner. In other news, I'm now studying economic computer science too, so I have 2 majors which is really cool. I decided doing so because I won't have to study so much in my 3rd or 4th year so I can concentrate on that topic too. Can is back in the USA and he will be back on 14 december. In summer he wants to work for Apple or google or whatever and this will certainly be kind of difficult. First, because if I'm in the US, I can't work!!! As I have no green card I'm not allowed to work and in addition to that it would be very difficult to find something around Palo Alto for me. Then, it will be difficult to find an appartment. If he lives in a dorm, I can't stay there long. We'll see if he finds a job there and what we'll do then.
