The rains of the past week have departed and they opened the door to the wonderful weather that we have enjoyed the past few days. The flowers around my house were just begging to be photographed. Some of them were still showing the water droplets from the brief early morning shower. When I took Duke out for his first walk this morning I shot a picture of the full moon just before it set behind the mountains. I was determined to rant today, but the beautiful day has changed my mind.

Other news:
- Duke had his stitches out yesterday and got a stern warning from the surgeon to "stay restrained" as there still is some swelling around the bottom of the plate.
- I found an interesting site yesterday. It is a photo blog that is very easy to use and post pictures to. Pictures can be uploaded straight from the camera to the site with no need of a host site. I joined the site and within a few minutes I had several photographs posted to it. It is free, fast and used by people around the world.
