7 Apr 2008 - Weak As Water
Weak. That's me. Yes, you've guessed it. All my good intentions of staying away from Greg and his show/chat..... I observed for a while and then just went in. I had a really good time, although I am really mad at myself of course. Been awake for many, many hours and now my eyes are sore of course. I have to go to work now! Eeek!
Oh I forgot.... Greg said my name right! SEH! The English way - without the RRRR on the end. I'm so UP after that! Unbelievable! A cause for celebration.... Greg has always joked about me and the milkman. Don't ask! LOL. Because he's always turned up at about 5 a.m. when it's about midnight there. Today Greg found a couple of Brit songs - Lonnie Donnegan's My Old Man's A Dustman and Greg said he found a song for me.... it was Ernie by Benny Hill! :) Greg is so sweet and he does try his best to keep everyone happy and play something for everyone there. So kind. He can be ignorant when he wants to too - like with someone who's not in his particular group of cronies at the present moment in time. Nobody's perfect. :D
Thank you for your friendship and assistance Spatzie - even if you-know-who can be an ignorant sod when he wants to be. Grrrr!
Wondering how Mojo and Liz are, considering he's moved home all the way from Liverpool to Cincinatti last week and they've bought a house together and are getting married in just days! I hope Mojo takes my advice (orders LOL) and sleeps today when he has the opportunity to catch up. His brain will be no friend to him if he doesn't. I hope Liz isn't getting too nervous about her big day. It's supposed to be something you enjoy you know! :D
Getting ready for work now.... More later.... Love, Sair xx
7 Apr 2008 - Tired
Tomato soup for lunch and I only just found the energy to go and empty the can into the mug and heat it for 2 x 1 min. I'll probably feel even more like sleeping when I've finished it.
I kind of promised Donna and her family more Jelly Babies but I forgot to put them on the order which is being delivered this evening between 6 and 7. I will make up another order and store the Jelly Babies - boxes instead of bags - in the online basket until we need another delivery. Looking forward to receiving some of the goodies arriving this evening. I shall pig out, wait for a bit of digestion and then crash out asleep for about 4 hours. There's a replay of some bloody good music at Greg's chat tonight and I intend to be there. Some good boots I am familiar with - he chooses some good ones. I'm looking forward to that. I shall try my best not to embarrass myself by saying stupid things or speaking too much, which is a failing of mine. Nervousness makes me "speak" too much in those rooms and sometimes they just don't get my jokes - either that or I'm just not in the slightest bit funny! Haha! {Note to self: dont' try and crack jokes when you're no good at it} LOL How embarrassing.
Might take a bit longer for lunch too today - I didn't get into work until 10 so my flexi is going to take a bashing today. :-o
The sun is trying to push its way through the dense cloud today, causing a strange kind of half-shine-reflection off the cars' paintwork etc. We only have a bit of rain and wet ground here but I've heard that someone here tried to go north this morning and had to turn back - snow too deep. Will have to check that out now on the local news websites for pics.
Later me dears.... Love and (((hugs))) Sair xx (Yessss Greg said me name right! Success!!! Woweee!!!)
7 Apr 2008 - Drowsy
A long, sleepy day yesterday at work. Needed sleep so much. I ended up going at half past. Not good for my flexitime total but I had to go.
Needed to get some sleep before Sainsburys arrival with the groceries but as soon as I got in the door, Dee came at me asking for a new mobile phone. She's missing her friends and is feeling down that her friends don't contact her and she's staying in far too much - it's making her unhappy. She proposed that she could pay me back by working around the house. We discussed and then we argued, Dee getting really quite upset - me just exhausted, not wanting to have that conversation at that particular time. I ended up snuggling down to sleep and was ready to drop off into a snooze when Sainsburys' driver knocked on the door with our food shopping. Signed for that and took it in, Dee put it away. I had an egg mayo sandwich, watched a bit of the news on the telly and then went to sleep.
I set my alarm for midnight so I could go into cam chat and as the alarm went off, Dee was coming into the room. She's in better spirits, having talked to old friend Bob on the phone tonight. Bob dropped out of college. He's his own worst enemy. He's really very good with computers - a whizz - can do all sorts of things - an expert - so he should just make an effort to pursue that line of study. Dee was laughing, telling me that Bob was turned down for a job at McDonalds because he was underqualified - you need one GCSE apparently - if he'd just get off his backside and make the effort to study and pass IT exams, he could work in that field no bother. Silly man.
My eyes are still a bit sore and I'm trying to decide whether to just go back to sleep or just go in chat without cam. I'll see what it's like first, then make a decision.
Going to have something to eat, then surf around a bit, then enter Greg's replay chat when he goes live - if you want to hear the music too when Greg goes live with the replay, just click on the Diary Index link at the top of the page. Beatles for one and a half hours this time because Greg started half an hour early last night. Going to see who's online now....
