    12 Mar 2008 - Discipline
I am NOT going to stay up in Jim and Hanks' chat tonight.  I need to get some sleep if I am to keep my job!  I'll go back in again when I wake up, before I go to work.  There's nothing to stop you listening / reading chat or joining the chat room.  You don't have to have a cam, nor be registered to join in.  Just click on the link at the top of this page which says Index, let the chat room load, then click to join chat and put in a nickname and you're in!  Enjoy!  :)

See you all in the morning!

    Love,
    Sair xx

    12 Mar 2008 - Sunshine
12.12 p.m. - on my lunch break and the sun is shining in through the window. Plenty of cumulus clouds but the wind is quite strong again and it's blowing them away across the sky.

On Monday, after work, I took a couple of snaps of new spring growth on my way home. I'm hoping to find my lead to transfer them to my laptop so I can put them up here later today.

Dee has been getting strange extreme body temperature change over the past couple of days. She came into my room and said she felt freezing when the rooms were quite warm. Last night she told me that she was feeling very warm. It is probably just a virus and it'll pass. She just never seems to be OK nowadays. She's managed to be in school for quite some time without disruption/absence.

I've just phoned the medical centre for an appointment with the doctor. Nothing available until the end of this month with my G.P.! Dee's told me her pills are running out this week so I've had to book for next Wednesday at 8.40 a.m. with the Sister. The whole point of this exercise was to see the G.P. at the end of this test 3-month period to assess the situation. I've just tried ringing the results line to find out about Dee's blood tests from her last visit to the Doc. The main telephone number redirected me to another number, saying the results line was open until 12.30 this afternoon. When I rang that number, the recorded message said that the results line was only open until 12 noon! I'll try again after 2 this afternoon. I very much doubt they've found anything wrong. I think it's a migraine-without-the-headache problem. Not going to be able to discuss that with Doc unfortunately. I like Sister though - she's good - gives me my flu jab and no-spleen interview each year. From the moment they're born we worry about our children - eh? :)

I had a brief couple of words with Greg when he put on a replay of Sunday's show. I missed it on both Monday and Tuesday early morning, so just surfed the net and listened. Greg left to do more work but left the music on thankfully. The "special guest" did arrive eventually and what can I say except - he's unique!

When I'd joined the chat late on Monday morning, Greg had said to me that Rob had broken a few ribs laughing at their guest. Rob does love to laugh and does so enthusiastically shall we say! So when Greg told me that he had collapsed that night, I just thought he was jesting with me again. Unfortunately not so. Rob had been so unwell they had to take him to hospital. Greg assured me that Rob was home and OK again and suggested I email him. I let Greg get on with his work and fired off a quick note to Rob, saying I hoped he was feeling 100% better soon.

Greg tells me that, in return for my package I sent a while back, he's sending me a package too. My stuff was all local things - the marmite, jelly babies and local stuff. He's going to send me things from his local area. Looking forward to that. How kind!

I need a break before I go back to work, so I'll be back later.

    Love,
    Sair xx
