8 Mar 2008 - Music, Chat and Sleep
I'm spending so much time in cam chat nowadays that I'm losing track of the days. When I woke up a few minutes ago I didn't know if it was daytime or night time or Saturday or Sunday. Confused. I spent a little time in Hank and Jim's chat (see Index page for cam chatrooms) but when coming off cam to go back in, I felt so tired that I fell asleep before I got back in again. {g} Dont' know when I woke up again but Jim was still there, just finishing up. Tony was there, as always, late on. Bon was there but asleep I think. Kenny was there too.
And "mel" who'd sent me a Stickam profile add this week and I discovered is Mary. We got talking in depth and she's now registered here and is reading this diary, poor girl! LOL. I hope you decide to do a diary too Mary - you could make it Friends only and invite all your friends to read. You can write about absolutely anything. It doesn't have to be about your day-to-day life like this boring crap is. {g} Want to know more about you Mary - are *you* a Beatles fan too? Or just like 50s, 60s and 70s music like the rest of us in the camchats? Hope you are enjoying reading through this diary and also discover a few more of my friends' diaries here at DD. Supertrooper, Richardsworld, Kyra and many more. Have fun! Look forward to chatting with you in Rob's and Greg's chat sessions over this weekend. :)
Much sleep throughout today. I set off a scandisk before sleeping and am just about to commence a defrag. I managed to free up many Gigs of space today when I transferred an iPod configured Lost season 3 from mininova onto my video iPod. All labelled correctly now so each episode is easily found and played. Channel 4 had the rights to broadcast Lost at first, then it lost out to Sky One. I don't have satellite telly so I've really missed the new series. However, I noticed on Mininova.org that someone had configured an HD season 3 broadcast for iPods and had to download the set for my video iPod so I can watch each programme on my lunch hour. I'm all set. Just need to find the connecting lead for between my iPod Nano headphones through to my new video Ipod player. It will be so good to see my videos/films on a larger screen. Thanks for the tip-off for the American player Moj! Gonna love it!
I haven't seen the film Short Circuit for a while now. One of my favourites but my copy, which was originally my mother's because she, too, loved the film, is on VHS video tape. I downloaded that from mininova.org today too and am going to watch it soon whilst I finish my tea (meal, not drink). The Indian guy just cracks me up on that film. "Input....INPUT!" Fabulous film. If you haven't seen it - get it and watch it - Short Circuit. Fabulous film.
I'm off to change my laptop into a cinema screen then...
{Still no news on the new diary and I'm starting to get pissed off now....}
Later.... (See you in Rob's chat Mary!) Love, Sair xx
