24 Feb 2008 - Night Music
Hello all. Slept well throughout the night Did you? Hope so. I woke up early morning and have been listening to Rob's music but not entering the chat room. I did enter the chat room, Rob said hi. I said hi. Donna said, "Go away". So I did. Only there a few seconds. Still listening to the music. Rob plays a good variety of bands and singers. Lots more known to me. I like that. There's only been one or two I didn't like. The rest have been good. He played some of the ones I sent him so that means I'm guaranteed to enjoy them :)
Last night I watched the 2 hour EastEnders omnibus and every EE programme from this week (except Friday which I'll play when Rob closes shop). Saw them on my laptop from the BBC iPlayer online. I LOVE that facility. To be able to catch up on loads of British BBC programmes whenever I like. It's GREAT!! :D
Going to get some more YouTube videos embeded on here later on today Find some good stuff for me and you to watch. :)
Going back to sleep for a while and then I'm going to clean and tidy my room
Later.... Love, Sair xx
24 Feb 2008 - I Owe It All To You
I think it would be rather lovely to try and find a YouTube video, for everyday if I can, to embed here to illustrate things that I've liked. Today.... Paul's McCartney's "I Owe It All To You". Nice melody on this one.
24 Feb 2008 - Such Talent
As it's been a good day for me for finding excellent video on YouTube, why not include another one here?! This illustrates why I love Mike Oldfield's music so much. Such talent. He's always been ahead of the game with his computer too. Does everything himself, he does. Everything you hear on Mike Oldfield's albums is usually performed by the man himself. He has mastered so many instruments. And plays them well. Here's the proof! (A poor quality piece, from a deteriorated home VT copy no doubt, but you get the idea of the huge talent of this man!)
Dee and I got some Jelly Babies in our shop this week. A small pack. I sent off a larger pack a while ago to a fellow Beatles fan in America because they don't get them over there, except in specialist shops. Jelly Babies were, of course, thrown to or rather at the Beatles on stage because of a remark made by George I think, saying he liked them. But when the Beatles went over to the USA, they got pelted with Jelly Beans - a much harder sweet and therefore, they hurt when they landed on a Beatle! Check out this page below and hit the PLAY button to hear Kenny Everett (one of my favourites as you already know) on tour with the Beatles in the US, together with, bizarrely, pirate radio London's ad for Jelly Babies!!
