11 Oct 2009 - Lazy Sunday
Found myself watching a program on The Weather Channel this afternoon about global warming. I was delaying going out because I was dreading the freezing cold temps -- about 20 degrees below normal for this time of year -- and according to the forecast, it's not going to get any better over at least the next week or so.

There's got to be some irony in that somewhere.

This evening I'm going to stay in and watch a movie on cable. Problem is, there are two movies I want to see, both on at the same time. Ever since Patrick Swayze died, I've been waiting to see "To Wong Foo" again, because I'd forgotten he was in it. Well, it's playing on BET tonight. But "Knocked Up' is on E!TV at the same time, and I want to see that one too. What to do?

I think I'm going to watch "Knocked Up", because I've never seen it before. That was one movie I had planned to see at the theater, but never got around to it.

So I looked for my Kettle brand Movie Theater Popcorn this afternoon, and couldn't find it at either Treasure Island or Whole Foods, the two stores in my area that usually carry it. They had the other Kettle brand popcorn varieties, but not the Movie Theater flavor.

How in the world am I supposed to watch a movie on TV without my special popcorn around? Damn, life is so hard.

I couldn't find any Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls, either... all out... trying to be cheap after blowing $85 yesterday on lunch and entertainment... but fortunately, Ho Ho's were on sale for only $2 a box, which is half price. So I bought those instead.

This is my exciting life, people.
