That's it. I'm boycotting Amato's Pizzeria in Lincoln Park. Hiked 3 1/2 miles this afternoon to go there and try their Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, only to be told -- several minutes after I had already ordered and paid -- that they were out of alfredo sauce, and couldn't make any more because they didn't have the ingredients on hand.
Sorry, but that just doesn't cut it. In today's economy you simply cannot afford to let me down like that. There are too many other places around serving mediocre Italian-American food. You can keep your slipshod operation. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
And now I'm off to spread the word on Facebook and Twitter. Hoo boy, you do not want to get on my bad side. If I like you, you've got it made in the shade, but if I don't like you, you've got problems, buddy.
No soup for you! NEXT!!!
14 Sep 2009 - Preview: Living Dangerously
It was exactly 25 years ago today that I had one of the scariest experiences of my life.
I was robbed at knifepoint by a hitchhiker I had picked up.
I had hoped to write a "Reminiscence" post for today, relaying what happened in great detail, but I'm not sure I'm up to writing it right now, so it might wait until tomorrow.
